In January 2007, we officially opened our first children’s home, Naledi (for school-going children).
It is managed in conjunction with the Apostolic Faith Mission Executive Welfare Council, as part of their uMephi program.
Naledi means star in Setswana and we truly believe that every child is a star in the making! With the correct input, attention and love each one – no matter what their given background is – can soar to great heights and live a whole and happy life.
The houseparents see their roles not as a vocation but as their passion. They believe that they are there to make a difference in each child’s life.
Naledi houses 9 Children, taking in ages 5 and up.
